Change of Name
As of 1st July 2017, the Club will now be the West Midlands Police Sports & Wellbeing Association.
Our new name reflects our continued relationship with West Midlands Police to promote health and wellbeing to all members. It also reflects our commitment and dedication to continue promoting healthy balanced lifestyles to serving and retired police officers and staff through sport and recreation.
As before, members will have access to a dedicated website offering extensive local and national discounts and special offers. Members will also have access to enhanced subsidised ticket offers that have recently been launched. These enable members to attend attractions such as Drayton Manor, Warwick Castle, Severn Valley railway, Chester Zoo and Black Country Museum at a subsidised rate, potentially saving a family over £250.00 in a year.
The club will also continue to promote health and wellbeing through sport and recreational activity. Members have access to a variety of sections that cover many levels of ability. As the name suggests, the club is also exploring new ways to promote wellbeing. We will look to encourage members to come forward with new sports suggestions but also develop the existing sections by introducing activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
The main club will continue to operate in its current management structure, and your contacts will remain unchanged. Other than these visible changes, there is no change in ownership and no change in staff. Our website, office location and phone numbers will remain the same as before.
Should you have any questions regarding this name change, please feel free to contact the Membership Team.
