Classic Car Show
Morning Richard, hope you are well.
The Classic Car show was held 10/11/12 Nov at the NEC Birmingham, members of the Motor Club were invited to help on the Royal Enfield stand, Mark Wakelam & Henry Adams, gave support for the 3 day show.
Mark Wakelam was surprised to meet up with a retired Inspector Philip Day from Brierley Hill, who is a himself a member of the Royal Enfield club.
(Pictured by gazebo) lots of reminiscing about their years in the police force.
It was a good but tiring 3 days, but well worth it. Lots of interest in the new Royal Enfield bike which is due to be unveiled shortly. It seems our efforts were good enough to provisionally be invited back next year with the Royal Enfield club, it is hoped that others from the motor club will join us, especially those who have a keen interest with motor bikes. There were several motor clubs at the show, possible thought for next year??
Also pictured Mark Wakelam at recent car restoration show meeting retired sergeant Brian from Coventry.
