Equestrian Eventing Team fly cross country!!!!

E-Olympics, ODE Eland lodge, Newborough 21st August 2016 WMP Equestrian Eventing team had their first team debut on the 21st August 2016 at Eland lodge, Newborough to compete for the day in dressage, show Jumping and cross country. The team consisted of Susanne Codd and Arkadian Warrior, Diana Humphries on Tynagh Coloured Man, Emma Walker on Zorro and Danni Nicholson on Shout it Out (Inspector Jax Nicholson's daughter). Danni riding her mother horse 'ASBO' kicked off the day with a fantastic dressage score of 26.5 in the 80cm section. She then went on to jump a beautiful double clear for ASBO's first ODE accumulating a few time faults. Danni's dressage score was good enough to wipe the board with an excellant win of her strong section giving the team a great start. Emma Walker on 'Zorro' and Diana Humphries on 'Dave' then started the afternoon in the 90cm sections. This is Emmas first year at eventing on Zorro as they normally showjump jumps bigger then you and I! Again completing a fantasic dressage score of 23!!!! They then went on to jump again a lovely double clear with just a few time faults finishing in the top of her section. Di Humphries again produced a fab dressage on Dave of 30.75, again jumped a lovely double clear finishing 5th in her section just a few months after having her twin boys!! Super mum! Susanne Codd and Jeffery then was the last one to compete braving for the first time the 100cm class. Susanne had a good dressage score, had an unfortunate pole in the SJ but then we all stood in admiration at the pair of them flying the massive fences cross country finishing with their first clear round at this level. In total there were 64 teams competing of three/four riders throughout the day and our team came fourth just missing out on the bronze medal on the podium! A big congratulations also goes out to Lisa Mullan on her ever reliable Daid O Diamonds who won her section on again an amazing dressge score and her team (not police) but eventually won the competition taking home the gold medals. Congratulations to all of the team for a great day!!
