Merlin Entertainments Update

03/06/2020

As you will have seen over the past few months the tourism industry is much changed, but one thing that has remained is its ability to care for each other and to work together to keep one another safe.  Thanks to the incredible efforts and endurance of the majority we are slowly starting to prepare for the imminent opening of our attractions in the UK.

At Merlin Entertainments our mission is always to create truly memorable experiences and we place the utmost importance on the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees.

At our attractions across the world we have introduced a range of stringent health and safety measures that seek to reduce the risk, and adhere to government advice and the requirements set out by local health authorities. Some of the measures implemented will be clearly visible to guests from the moment they arrive at one of our attractions, whilst others will be routinely carried out by our teams ‘behind the scenes’. These new measures will be subject to ongoing review and we encourage our trade partners and our visitors to ensure they understand and adhere to any new requirements.

We have been incredibly excited to welcome guests back in the recent weeks to our attractions in APAC and North America and these new measures have been put in place in order to ensure guests and team members feel comfortable on site.

You will see in the video below some changes to the way in which we work such as online booking, cashless payments, voucher-less entry and reduced daily capacities in line with the required health and safety policies for reopening.   We will be sharing more with you in the coming weeks on how this might impact your account and how we work together.

Undoubtedly things will feel different for a while as we collectively amend our practices to this new working norm, but be assured that Merlin will continue to provide fun, safe and memorable experiences.
