Do you ride a bike? Ever thought about joining West midlands Police Cycling Club?
We are looking for new members to join the club.
What are the benefits of joining the club?
We have members who enjoy social riding all the way up to racing and representing the Police sport UK team at the European Police championship. So what ever level of riding you are interested in you are welcome to join and represent the club.
We also have a Facebook and strava page
The club is also hosting the National Emergency Services Road Race in Wolverhampton for 2022 and is encouraging members to take part or assist with volunteering at the event.
As a member we pay the equivalent of £2 a month in an annual payment of £24.
What does my £24 get me?
Subsidised kit, access to the clubs 3 x bicycle boxes if you are travelling with your bike.
If you represent the club at Races, Sportives then you can look at claiming back your entry fee if it falls under £30.
The club also arranges trips for members with subsidised rates. Some previous trips to Belgium for the Flanders sportive, Riding in Yorkshire for a weekend and also to watch the Tour de France.
As are members are spread across the force we organise rides when possible and anyone is more than welcome to join these rides.
