Guest Update for Merlin Attractions
The health and safety of our guests and our staff is always our top priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their continued welfare. At our resorts and attractions, we have implemented enhanced cleaning regimes, increased the availability of hand sanitisation products and will adopt recommended practices and government recommended guidelines as appropriate, to maintain a safe environment.
Our teams are alert to signs of coronavirus symptoms and understand the importance of good hygiene. Like many businesses, we continue to monitor the situation closely and are in regular contact with local authorities so we may respond quickly to any developments.
Further Update:
The health and safety of our guests and team is our top priority and further to the Government’s updated advice on Covid-19 coronavirus, we have taken the decision to temporarily close The York Dungeon, The Edinburgh Dungeon, The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, The London Dungeon, The Alton Towers Dungeon, The Warwick Castle Dungeon & Dreamworks Tours Shreks Adventure! London as a precautionary measure. The closures, which are effective 18 March, are due to the operational nature of the attractions and is consistent with guidance on social distancing in relation to Covid-19 coronavirus. Moving forward, we will remain in contact with the relevant authorities on when we can re-open.
Warwick Castle remains open as normal and Alton Towers is opening as planned on 21st March.
