Actives of WMPMC members, to include members attended the Retro Race show on Friday 21st February 20, lots to see and conversations with many exhibitors there, had a break to listen to a talk by Rosemary Smith one of the great lady rally drivers of the 60s/70s. Club secretary Mark Wakelam admiring one of the late- Russell Brookes rally cars. There was a specific line up of many of Russell Brookes Cars as a tribute to the late great rally driver.
Sunday 23rd February 20 saw 8 club members attending a Marshalling/Motorsport UK training session, this was an all-day affair covering many aspects of rallying including- rally safety, setting up rally stages, radio operation etc. this sort of training is required so we can maintain or upgrade our marshal registration, we all came away with a greater/ additional knowledge.
