The WMPMC assisted in marshalling on the WRC Wales Rally, 3 of us including Mark Wakelam, Paul Clackett and myself volunteered to marshal the IN & OUT of the area called the Tyre Zone at the college in Newtown Wales. It was an early start to get out to Newtown. I am afraid no action pics, as our role, apart from letting service crew/tyre trucks and competitor in & out, our only other task was to try and keep spectators out.
Other members, including Dave Williams, Trevor Whitehead, Debbie & Steve Palmer, of the marshalling section, also went out actually marshalling/radio crews on the stages in the forests. Regards
