Payment Details
The Direct Debit Guarantee
- This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
- If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit West Midlands Police Club will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request West Midlands Police Club to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
- If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by West Midlands Police Club or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.
- If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when West Midlands Police Club asks you to.
- You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. You must also notify us.

Am I eligible for Affiliate Membership?
If you are employed by any of the following services outside of West Midlands Police and can provide a form of ID or payslip (valid within the last 3 months) you are eligible to join the West Midlands Police Sports & Wellbeing Association as an affiliated services member.
- Ambulance Service – ID Required: ID Card or Payslip
- Fire Service – ID Required: ID Card or Payslip
- HM Armed Forces – ID Required: ID Card or Payslip
- NHS – ID Required: ID Card or Payslip
- Police – ID Required: ID Card or Payslip
- Police Family Organisations – ID Required: Payslip

Can I join as a retired Emergency Service worker?
Yes, retired emergency service workers from the following services are eligible to join:
- Armed Forces Veterans – ID Required: Armed forces pension, Certificate of Service or Certificate of Discharge.
- Retired Police Officers/ Staff – ID Required: Police pension, NARPO Membership Card
- Retired Firefighters – ID required: Firefighters pension
- Retired NHS – ID required: P60 Certificate showing NHS pension

All new applications must be verified before we grant membership and full access to our services. ID Verification can take up to 7- 10 working days to complete.

If you are located within the West Midlands, we run a calendar of day trips and short breaks throughout the year for you to enjoy. These trips are discounted and usually include travel from our head office in Edgbaston Birmingham.
We also provide a series of overseas breaks to some of the world’s most interesting locations and events. All overseas breaks include guides to ensure you have a perfect vacation.

How do I get a membership card?
Membership cards are issued and posted to your home address or designated work address within 30 days of being accepted for club membership.
What are the membership cards for?
Membership cards can be used to redeem certain offers, usually those that require an in-person transaction. All offers work differently so please read the redemption details carefully to avoid disappointment.
